The Valerious Family is a transylvanian family founded by Valerious The Elder, who for generations for 400 years have been destined to kill the vampire, Vladislaus Dragulia, currently Count Dracula (Who was in fact the secret son of Valerious the Elder).

1462[]
Valerious The Elder was a royal knight who lived in Transylvania. He was also unfortunately the father of Count Vladislaus Dragulia, or Count " Dracula " who having sired the evil being and couldn't bear to kill his own son, banished him to an icy fortress through a door from which there was no return, but then The Devil gave Dracula wings to come and go, in order to sustain life by drinking the blood of others. After that, Valerious The Elder then went to Rome to seek forgiveness and made a pact to God that his family would vanquish Dracula in return for eternal salvation of his bloodline down to Anna. He also left a certain insignia scroll behind in Rome which came into the care of the Knights of the Holy Order, which was a piece of the painting map in the Valerious Castle that created a portal to Castle Dracula when one spoke the words: In the name of God, open this door. Because he couldn't bear to kill his own son, Valerious The Elder left clues behind so that his descendants might do it for him.
1887[]
His descendant, the King Boris Valerious tries to kill Count Dracula by finding out where his castle was. He would stand in front of the Valerious Castle's map painting for hours looking for Dracula's lair, tearing though the family archives in the tower, spending year after year looking for answers. In 1887, just after the incident at Castle Frankenstein, Boris went missing in action.
1888[]
In 1888, the sons of Boris Valerious, the Prince Velkan Valerious and the Princess Anna Valerious became the last in their bloodline and continued hunting monsters under Dracula's command. With the help of an unnamed group, they hunted a Grey Werewolf, with Velkan acting as bait to lure it into the trap, which gets jammed leaving him vulnerable. Anna tries to distract the Werewolf and gets it stuck in their trap but Velkan gets stuck in a tree and drops his gun, loaded with silver bullets. The hunter's gunfire starts breaking the ropes on the cage and crashed it, setting the werewolf free and rampages after Anna. The werewolf chases Anna towards a cliff where Velkan saves his sister by pushing her to safety and shoots the werewolf with a silver bullet his own gun but gets pulled off the cliff and bitten in the process, yet ends up being consumed by the curse and survives.
